In May 2006, Montagu Private Equity led and arranged the
management buyout of Logstor from a consortium of Danish
investors.
Logstor is the world's leading manufacturer of complete
pre-insulated pipe systems for transportation of gases and liquids
in district heating and cooling networks, oil and gas pipelines,
marine and industrial applications and solar power systems. Logstor
sells its products globally in a market where rising energy prices
and environmental concerns are increasing the importance of
efficient, energy-saving products and transport solutions.
In 2005, the Company recorded sales of €250 million and EBITDA of
more than €25 million. It is headquartered in Løgstør, Denmark and
has 1,300 employees in eight European production facilities and
eleven sales offices. In addition, the Company has distributors in
28 countries and joint ventures in Korea and China.
Montagu was attracted to Logstor because of its strong market
position, excellent management team and extraordinary growth
prospects, both in established and new product areas.
