Montagu, a leading European private equity firm, announces that it has agreed to acquire ISI Emerging Markets Group Ltd (“ISI”), the number one provider of macroeconomic, business, and industry intelligence on global emerging markets, from CITIC Capital and Caixin Global. Completion of the sale is expected next month, subject to customary closing requirements.
ISI is renowned globally as the leading provider of data, analysis, and research for the world’s fastest-growing and highest potential countries. It aggregates unstructured, hard-to-obtain information from local and international sources, and validates and curates it into standardised, methodologically consistent, and editable content.
